Depress the brake and turn the key, nothing. It wouldn't turn over or anything. I took the switch out and put a test light on it and wasn't getting power to the solenoid when key was turned. Cleaned the contacts on the switch and on the harness plug abs still nothing then one time it started right up.This is a 1981 IH Cub Cadet 782. The 782 has a 17 HP Kohler engine. The 782 was hydostatic driven And also had hydraulic lift.The 782 has a Command 18 transplant motor, and the 1A tiller has a non factory pulley on the bottom of the gearbox.
