I'm not a big fan of Remington guns, but that one is a keeper. In the past I've owned a Mossberg and an Ithaca 37, and to me, the Remington 870 was just a superior shotgun. Having said that, I know the model 870 is not what it once was, just as so many other guns that were cheapened to increase profit or compete with other brands.
